The workshops, which take place from 31 January to 24 February, are the most important event in the South African citrus fruit sector. In fact, more than 1,100 participants are expected, among these, more than 300 citrus centres in the country.
TECNIDEX, which has its own subsidiary in South Africa (TECNIDEX SUD FRUIT) will not only be a sponsor, but will also have a representation which will publicize the company’s latest innovations in products, technologies and services for postharvest healthcare, sharing knowledge in that area.
These seminars will bring together the entire citrus sector in the country and representatives of the agrochemical industry to share the latest research and developments carried out in this field to guarantee maximum efficiency in the treatment and health of citrus fruits.
In fact, these workshops will analyse the postharvest problems in the South African citrus sector in different areas of the country, specifically in five key locations for the sector: Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KZN and Swaziland, Eastern Cape and West Cape.
